The broad and the narrow way

(Matt 7:13-14) “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.”

The Lord Jesus is making it very clear in the above two verses that there are only two ways. One way leads to destruction and the other one leads to life. He is offering us two ways, and two ways only! Will you accept the free gift of eternal life through the narrow way or do you prefer to continue in the self-centered life you are presently living where humans are glorified which represents the broad way?

When we enter the small gate with the narrow way, this represents true salvation by grace through faith in Christ, and it leads to eternal life.

However, if you continue your walk in the wide gate with the broad way, and I pray that none of you do, it is clear that you have rejected Christ, that your pride and self-righteousness are leading you to eternal Hell.

Family and friends, I urge each and every one of you, please do not postpone that day, for the Word of God says:
“for He says, “AT THE ACCEPTABLE TIME I LISTENED TO YOU, AND ON THE DAY OF SALVATION I HELPED YOU.” Behold, now is “THE ACCEPTABLE TIME,” behold, now is “THE DAY OF SALVATION”” (2 Cor 6:2)

Have you repented and accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior? now is the ACCEPTABLE TIME, now is the DAY OF SALVATION. Please do not delay any longer until it becomes too late and there is no more hope. Please make your decision today before tomorrow.

I am sure that the Lord is talking to each and every one of you, one way or another, using different kind of ways to reach you. Please do not harden your heart, do not ignore what the Lord wants to tell you. If you drink of the water that He will give you, you will never thirst again and that water will become in you a well of water springing up to eternal life.

Dear reader, I will be praying for you while you are reading this week’s devotional. May the Lord use it to touch your heart and save you from the sinful and meaningless life you are living if you are still without Christ.

Grace and Love be yours,
Christservant.
